The Adriatic NMR 2026 conference was held in Rijeka from July 9 to 11, 2026, and the VALREO project was presented with an oral and poster presentation.
Prof. Ph.D. Marina Tišma gave a lecture entitled NMR Spectroscopy as a Key Tool for the Characterization of Lignocellulosic Polymers from Food-Industry Side Streams.
Laura Hanić, univ. mag. ing., presented a joint poster communication Lignin Isolation from Hemp Pomace and Hemp Stalk with Deep Eutectic Solvents.
Dr. Jelena Parlov Vuković was also a member of the Conference Organizing Committee.
The presented research highlights the application of NMR spectroscopy as an important analytical tool for characterizing and distinguishing lignin isolated from lignocellulosic biomass using two different natural eutectic solvents.
