At the beginning of February 2024, the VALREO project held its first meeting with project partners from Croatia. The project leader at FKKT UM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Petrovič, and the project leader at the University of Osijek, Prof. Dr. Marina Tišma, presented the main objectives of the project, a timetable for the first year of the project was prepared, and the tasks and individual activities were divided among the participating researchers. In addition, the expert programme for the 1st workshop on lignocellulosic biomass processing, which will take place in June in the framework of the GREEN 2024 conference in Vodice, Croatia, was developed.
